"I
just wanted to say thank you so so much for taking the afternoon with
us on Saturday. It was enormously educational and also fun. I learned
a tremendous amount and am enjoying watching that information digest
itself in my system. I will let you know what I discover on this path.
I will definitely recommend this workshop to my artist friends."

Ari Madridakis, Digital Artist

Stephanie Groom, Artist
"Thanks, Carolyn! I learned a lot from you last week...thanks again. Maybe even more important at this point than the information was the inspiration I got talking with you and sitting in the midst of your beautiful work! I'll stay in touch and let you know how my business is going."

Carolyn
Quan teaches her workshop, "It Takes More Than Talent - 20
Ways To Boost Your Career As A Fine Artist" in the San Francisco Bay Area and once a year in February, in
Hawaii on the islands of Maui and Oahu. The workshop is an intense
4.5 hour session that is packed with valuable information about
various techniques and strategies to help promote yourself and
your art to the public and to galleries and retailers. There
is also a half-hour break included with refreshments served. The workshop includes real-life
stories about successes and challenges, practical applications and philosophical inspirations. There is a limit of
5 people per workshop in San Francisco and 30 in Hawaii. The group workshop can be supplemented
by the downloadable course as well as vice versa. Although most
of the topics are the same in both, the information delivered
in a group dynamic is different from reading it from the
downloadable version. One method may work better for some and
the other method make work better for others. Some of the topics
covered in this workshop include, but are not limited to the
following:
